Shipping & Orders
Orders within the UK typically take 3–5 business days. International orders may take 7–14 business days, depending on the destination.
Yes! Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number via email to follow your package.
Orders can only be modified or cancelled before they are dispatched. Please contact us immediately if you need to make changes.
Returns & Exchanges
Unopened and unused yarns may be returned within 14 days of receipt. Please contact our support team to initiate a return.
Exchanges are possible for defective items or incorrect orders. Contact us with your order details, and we’ll guide you through the process.
Products & Yarn
We offer high quality yarns in a variety of fibres and weights, including British wool, Merino wool, cotton, linen-cotton, wool nylon and acrylic in an assortment of cones, hanks and balls. See our full collection here.
We specialise in top-dyed shades, which you can find on our 4ply and DK British and Merino ranges. Top-dyed shades are made up of multiple colours, creating a beautiful melange look. To celebrate the natural qualities of our yarns, we also offer a range of undyed shades.
We don't recommend machine washing. In order to celebrate the natural qualities of our yarns, we do not superwash treat them. All our yarns should be hand washed in order to maintain the fibre quality, shape and feel.
Yes! Our British Wool comes from UK farmers through the British Wool Board, and our Merino wool is sourced from Chile, where mulesing is not permitted.
We offer a wide range of shades across all yarn types. Shade cards are available for our 4ply British wool, 4ply Merino wool and 4ply cotton yarns to help you select colours before purchasing a full cone.
Shade Cards
A shade card is a handy reference showing all available colours for a particular yarn range. It helps you visualise shades, plan colour combinations, and ensure consistency across cones, balls, or hanks.

- Cotton 4Ply Shade Card – 20 shades
- British Wool 4Ply Shade Card – 48 shades
Some shades from the full range may not be included, but the card represents the main colours available.
Yes, shade cards can be purchased directly from our shop and are ideal for planning your projects before buying cones, balls, or hanks.
Care & Handling
All our yarns are hand wash only. Lay flat to dry and do not wring. This preserves softness, colour, and structure.
Yes they maintain colour and vibrancy when washed according to care instructions. There are a couple of our yarns such as the neon ranges that are not. If you are unsure contact our team either on social, email or phone.
No. To maintain fibre quality, shape, and softness, all Woolyknit yarns should be hand washed only.
